Once the methodology has been carefully thought through a detailed program is compiled, with the necessary outputs on all trades to achieve the completion of the project on time.

Part of the programming is the compiling of a long lead schedule to ensure that imported items are ordered in advance for delivery on time.

Detailed information schedules are regularly distributed to the professional team to assist with information flow.

Pre-Construction Design, Value Engineering and Planning

Concrete Structures (Formwork systems and Concrete Technology)

The concrete structure of any project’s forms part of the critical path, it is therefore essential to erect the structure as quickly as possible with intolerance and according to the engineer’s design, parameters, and architect aesthetic specification.

We are specialists in civil and building concrete structures and acquired extensive experience in formwork systems and construction methods to achieve the highest quality of concrete finishes. Abel as the founder of BCMA Construction has completed the Concrete Technology Level 4 Course with the Cement and Concrete Institute.

By understanding Concrete, BCMA Construction not only specifies the strength of the concrete required but all the other aspects to achieve a high-quality finish of the product and earlier strengths to speed up the construction process.

Conversions of redundant Office Buildings into Residential Apartments and Student Accommodation Units

BCMA is the Company to contact if you want to convert your empty office building into residential apartments or student accommodation units.  

It is essential to use Lightweight Brick as the suspended slabs of Office Buildings have not been designed to carry the additional weight of normal brickwork. BCMA has vast experience in lightweight blockwork (Hebel AAC -, Enviro-light - and Technopol blocks) 

In 2016 Abel together with Everite imported the first AAC Blocks to be used in South Africa, from the Netherlands. 

These AAC blocks were used on the Hatfield Square Project. Working with these blocks is a specialist skill. BCMA has its own trained and skilled Lightweight Block Laying Teams.

Water Tightness of Buildings

The biggest problem after a project is completed is leaks in a building. This is most certainly the biggest nightmare for contractors, architects, and clients as it influences the end-user the most. With this in mind, we as BCMA are focussing on all aspects of waterproofing and water tightness of buildings during construction. At BCMA we work with the professionals as a TEAM with one GOAL To DELIVER the project on time to the client’s satisfaction.!!
